Suedy Shoes Jazzup Band - Keep Swingin‘
Berlin neighbourhood meets Franconian attitude to life and the music of the "Great American Songbook": On Saturday, 12 October 2024, the "Suedy Shoes Jazzup Band" will get the meeting room swinging from 7.00 pm.
The five musicians dedicate themselves passionately and full of enthusiasm to the various types of jazz. The stylistic spectrum ranges from traditional standards and soulful grooves to lyrical, modern compositions. The four Herzogenaurach music school teachers Johannes Göller (double bass), Aron Hantke (drums), Markus Rießbeck (saxophone) and Volkmar Studtrucker (piano) have brought a special guest on board for this special evening: Gerhard Gschlössl is a sought-after Berlin trombonist who has already performed on stage with Albert Mangelsdorff, Gebhard Ullmann and Christian Lillinger and is coming to Herzogenaurach especially for this evening. In the cosmopolitan city of the sports shoe miracle, the motto will be: Put on your suedy shoes and keep swingin'!
